About
The J. H. Hawes Grain Elevator was built on the Union Pacific railroad line in downtown Atlanta, IL in 1904. It has been fully restored and is now one of only three wooden grain elevators in the country listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Call Atlanta City Hall for reservations - 9am-4:30 pm - Monday - Friday Harvest Host members should go to Atlanta City Hall, 102 NW Vine St., to check in and receive directions to the J. H . Hawes Grain Elevator Museum.
