Top 20 RV Apps for 2025

(Last updated Nov. 22, 2024 for length and accuracy)

A good RV road trip can change your life. At a minimum, hitting the open road can give you the stimulation needed to find a new business idea, make an important life decision, or provide some distance and clarity on any number of things gripping your mind at home.

After RVing through all of the Lower 48 over the past 6 years, my family and I have come to rely on some excellent RV mobile apps to make the road trip even more amazing. We hope these will help make your next trip a little easier and more fun as well!

1. Togo RV (Apple iOS / Android)

Togo RV is the ultimate app to keep RV owners organized, inspired, and on the move. Transform time spent on vehicle maintenance and trip preparations into time spent enjoying your RV and hitting the open road! Get inspiration from RV Living, find nearby places and things to do, reference checklists for your RV trips, track RV maintenance and RV recalls, and more!

Upgrade to Togo RV Plus to enjoy features like custom checklists and a subscription to Roadtrippers Plus, the #1 road trip planner. Harvest Hosts members receive an exclusive 30% off Togo RV Plus. Login to your Harvest Host account and view "Exclusive Member Discounts" for additional details.

2. iExit (Apple iOS / Android)

While cruising down the highway blasting "Born to be Wild", you get a sudden hankering for a veggie burger and fries. Or realize you pushed the gas needle a little too far. iExit finds you on the highway and tells you what food/lodging/gas/shopping options you have at upcoming exits, so you can wait to find just the right spot. It even shows you up to date gas prices at upcoming stations so you can get the best deal.

3. AllTrails (Apple iOS / Android)

After a few hours of driving, you need to get out and stretch the legs. No better way than to take a hike into nature. (Which plenty of research shows will also help boost your creativity, reduce stress, and make you happier to boot!). AllTrails locates hiking trails near you and provides difficulty ratings, 5-star feedback from other hikers, and a full description of the trail, length, vertical gain, and the ability to download a map before heading into the woods in case you lose service.

4. HappyCow (Apple iOS / Android)

After completing your hike, you deserve a snack. But unless you are a fan of fried foods and heart disease, it can be difficult to find decent eating options on the road. HappyCow helps you find vegan, vegetarian and veg-friendly options nearby. You don’t need to be a vegetarian to enjoy the recommendations—HappyCow typically finds healthy options that meat eaters can enjoy.

5. Roadtrippers (Apple iOS / Android)

Before you jump in the RV, use Roadtrippers to find a great destination, or help find things to see and do along the route you’ve already decided on. Enter a start and end point, then overlay your route with attractions (offbeat, museums, excursions), points of interest (abandoned, historic, monuments, photo opps), outdoors & recreation (national parks, nature reserves, scenic points) and much more. We have stumbled across some very interesting hidden gems using Roadtrippers!

6. GasBuddy (Apple iOS / Android)

As one of the most expensive parts of the RV lifestyle, finding reasonably priced gas can add up to hundreds (or more!) in cost savings per year. It also feels good to know you are getting a good deal at the pump. Enter GasBuddy, a simple app that does one thing well: Helps you find gas nearby, for the best price. Simply enter the type of gas you need (great for us that have diesel tanks) and see a list of stations nearby with prices updated constantly by other users. GasBuddy app screenshot

7. AroundMe (Apple iOS / Android)

Just as simple as it sounds: Pull up the app to find nearby supermarkets, gas stations, coffee shops and much more. Just select a category and the app displays a list of locations, sorted by distance. AroundMe App Screenshot

10. Harvest Hosts (Apple iOS / Android)

Obviously no RV mobile apps list would be complete without Harvest Hosts!  Members can use the app to find 5,000+ unique places to stay overnight in the US, Canada and even Mexico. Stay at wineries, breweries, distilleries, museums, golf courses, and more as a member! These locations are a great way to visit local businesses that you wouldn't normally visit. And you get the great opportunity to stay at the business overnight without hookups. Harvest Hosts app Screenshot

  4. Allstays Camp & RV

  5. RV Life

  6. GoodSamClub
